We have purchased a length of the above (as used for prams) to protect the carpet in our touring caravan.

However, for a whole two weeks, it travelled either up one end or down the other of the caravan!!!  Without using nails or glue, has anyone any idea as to how to keep it stationery when walked on.  Any suggestions gratefully received.

Double-sided tape?
Woolworths sell Velcro on a roll various sizes, I should think about an 1" wide would do it.    Just cut and stick to the four corners and ditto on the floor, you should have no more bother.
I think there's something called "cats claws" (or some pun on this such as 'kats klaws' etc) that are supposed to stop carpets and rugs travelling. I've seen it in 'Innovations' type catalogues or 'Lakeland Plastics' or somewhere. I think they are plastic pads with tiny hooks on them that grip the carpet when you stick them to the underside of your rug etc.

Well thank you Velcro for your helful answer. We no longer have that touring van but I'll remember your tip for the future. I looked up both Alligata Surface Protection & Fantastick and they look pretty useful sites worth remembering. Trish.
