any cleaning products recommended for getting mildew off white stone walls?

Bleach.

I find Astonish Mould and Mildew Cleaner particularly good and you can pick it up for about £1.50 from cheap homeware shops. It's great for cleaning bathroom tiles as well. Don't get it on your clothes though!
