I need to transplant some currant bushes....When is the best time to do this?

I am not sure but I do know an electrician who could supply some 'current' bushes, if you like.
If it were to move any plant , I would wait until mid September. Some suggest spring but I wouldn't want to move anything when the sap is rising. I'm not a fruit grower so best wait for someone with experience.
