Not had a feather one but having had a memory foam I wouldn't change
I find down ones to be more comfortable through the year.
I don't like memory foam. And no mattress topper can improve an underlying poor mattress.

My matress isnt poor- i threw memory topper out as had had it for a few years....

I loved my topper- can defo tell the difference, probobly shouldnt "fix something thats not broken" if i liked memory but for some reason im swayed to feather xxx
I find down cooler in the summer months.

My experience of memory foam is that it can get quite hot and sticky when the weather warms up as it doesn't seem to breathe as well as natural materials.

Oh theres microfibre aswell now!!
Unless the duck feathers are of good quality, i.e. very small and fine, you may find the quills poke through the cover. Even if they don't. you may feel them under the material. I gave up on down and feather pillows for this reason.
