Caught a glimpse of a street name on the news tonight, it made me giggle, Two Planks Lane, Spalding.
Got any good/silly street names you can relate?

There's a Far Lane near to me, someone added a T to the 1st word:-)

not that it's a road, but also in oxford there used to be a cafe called heroes, and some wit added a downstroke to the "o" making it herpes
In Sheffield there's a very steep and winding road called 'Carsick Hill'...not named for that reason but very appropriate...btw its in Nick Clegg's constituency of Hallam.
There was the classic street name in a Morcombe & Wise scetch set in Paris
'Rue de Remarque'
There is a Dickfools Lane in Norfolk
Green Joy-sticks Lane in Preston.
Killcrash Lane, Garstang.
Knitting Row Lane, Nr Preston.
Green Joy sticks not. It's Green DIcK$ Lane.

In York we have a Green Dykes Lane, and a Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma Gate
there is a canal st in the gay area of manchester, the c is often scrubbed out
Bog Houses in Northumberland, nowhere near a bog.
