Sorry meant to say its actually the specific sizes I am after. Am I correct in thinking a King Size is 5ft and a Super King Size is 6ft? If so, how big is Queen Size?

Now that is strange I've always thought my bed was a Queen size - but its apparently a King size.  But when I buy fitted sheets for King size - they are too wide.

I have a 48 inch bed in a spare room - not listed on either US or UK charts.

I seem to remember having a 48 inch wide bed as a child. I think it was called a "three-quarter bed" in the UK.
