My mother said she found me under the gooseberry bush but other sources suggest a visit by a very strong stork. Does he drop the babies down the chimney like Santa.? Who do I believe? Or do I accept the evidence of my own experiences? Perhaps it's all a dream.

I came from a very high up family, I fell out a rooks nest!
santa brought me, not down the chimney, but wrapped up with glittery paper.
I didn't know bamboo leaves came "glittering," em
I think I am a figment of my own imagination .... or maybe not
I was down the back of the settee
"René Déscartes was a drunken old fart," Rich - to borrow the Monty P song lyrics....
DT not sure i get that, but im bit slow this evening,

rich47 mate have you had a few sherbets tonight... if so cheers
em, perish the thought, you must have realised by now that I am a highly tuned athlete and any such alcoholic beverage would be poison to me.....
or perhaps not.
<<<< I think I am a figment of my own imagination >>>>>
does that mean I can think I am anyone I want to be?
Pandas live in areas with access to a lot of bamboo and leaves. Even though bamboo is used for many applications in the Far East from cooking to scaffolding, as well as panda nosh, I have never heard of it being used as "glittery" wrapping paper.....hope that explains the "logic"
rsvp ... of course .. have you not heard the phrase "I think, therefore I am"
Someone told me I fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
I have indeed heard the phrase -way back when Nelson still had his eye - just needed a nudge to remind me - thank you rick47
rsvp ... well Nelson certainly had an eye for the ladies.
All the best.
DT got it, panda of course,

Rich47, I read this someplace, no idea if its true,
Lady Astor to Winston Churchill,
"sir you're drunk"
Churchill,
" madam you are ugly, but i will be sober in the morning"
I have heard the phrase "I think therefore I am single", rich.

Did Nelson not have to have an eye test for the British Navy then?
Yes he did, jonny, he used his good eye. If it had been an eyes test...........
rich47 - indeed he did1
Hey you guys... why is my sobriety in question?
Nelson had the eye test but he could "see no ships"
em, your quote is well known and is typical of Churchill's brilliance.
I came from the Hopstipul =)
