Is this a good or bad idea. It looks good. What are the drawbacks?

What do you mean
they can be slippery when wet if anti-slip sand (or glass grit) isn't applied.
(they look nice, but I wouldn't have one).
We were given a sample as we were considering it for a garden path. I can imagine it could be slippery when wet. Husband liked the look, I didn't but the deciding factor that made it no thanks was it's incredibly expensive.
At those sort of prices I would want something without the drawbacks mentioned in Chris's link.
Could somebody explain point 11 in the link please?
It's for the Flintstone's, Dooooogie. I was a bit perplexed by No5 - basically 'don't eat it'.

Looks like an article put together by someone who does tarmac and/or block paved drives. It's a bit pants.
