Do any of you ABers know where I can get a very large wall clock. I have seen one in somebody's house, but I did not know them, so can not ask very well. I would like it to be battery operated if possible, so no mains powered ones, please.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Mondaine make beautiful large railway clocks and are Swiss but they aint cheap, i want one!
Big Ben!
have a word with lime street train station, or speak to a scouser in a bar , they might be persuaded to nick it 4 u
easiest way is the clock mechanism with large hands and paint the numbers on the wall can make them really wild then
Just buy a set of very long hands including the battery case & a set of numerals then attach them to the wall. You can make the clock as large a diameter as you want.
My friends have a nice one in their kitchen .. about 1M across!
Are they shortsighted Al?
lol ..

It's great : )

BTW .. I thought the poster of the question made a spelling mistake
: )
The gift shop next door but one to where I work have a huge railway station type clock in their window, it's 3ft across!
Have a look on EBAY under 'DIY CLOCKS'.
I was thinking the same things myself Al - both that it was a spelling mistake and where could I get a massive... ;)
Northamptonshire maybe .. if he's hard up (or not .. as the case may be)
:D xx
