A few people that i know that have bought them, arent that impressed
In my opinion, vastly over-rated. We had this a while ago .... see here ...

I got the smaller rollerball one, I'm not that impressed, I've had mine nearly 8 months and the engineer came to put a new motor in it a couple of weeks ago. It has a dual floor brush, but mine got stuck on the wood floor so the brush wouldn't go round and pick up bits from the carpet. It has a good suction, but the hose is shorter the flex is shorter and the dust container is smaller so you have to empty it more often and you have to wash the filters every month, but It isn't as heavy as the usual Dysons and not that noisy, OK for a small flat.
well overated. I have one but I find the henry at work is more powerful
P.S. My father's just gone to the tip .. too many times spent fixing broken parts, unblocking pet hair, or replacing filters.
He now has a Miele.

Thanx Al, perfect
I have the Dyson animal cylinder and its brill
it won't be before long : )

just kidding. Each to their own.
And on top of that he moved his manufacturing abroad once he had made a fortune. Not very British!!
Yep .. just in it for the money .. just like us others!
The plastic on Dysons is sooo crap .. it hardens and becomes brittle with age .. then bits crack and fall off.
I got rid of my fixed Dyson, drove me barmy, with 3 cats it couldn't cope with the hair. I bought a Meile and it's excellent. My neighbour has a ball Dyson though and she is pleased with it.
I threw my dyson onto a skip - could not believe the lack of power. However bought Bex Bissell vacuum cleaner - absolutely fantastic. I have a dog and it not only picks up the dog's hair but very fine dust that must be in my carpet. I actually bought another one and have it in case the first one packs up. Stay away from the dyson.
I don't like my Dyson either.
Never had a dyson but the daughter threw hers out............I have a Hetty :-)
Don't bother, Dysons are rubbish imo.
I got a Dirt Devil Infinity VS8 Turbo Multicyclone Bagless Vacuum Cleaner after realising a Dyson was out of my price range and I have got to say it is fantastic!!
