In the summer, I bought some of those flowery strips that you can put on a window pane to kill flies. Brain wasn't in gear at the time and I put them on with the sticky side on the window. Now I can't get the yucky residue off the glass. Can anyone sugggest how I can remove it?

i have purchased sticky stuff remover from my local kleeneze rep and it works on everything i have had to use it for so far but never stuck fly paper up the wrong way but it might be worth a try
Iggy might have said ''Sticky Stuff Remover'' (with capital letters), since this is the name one such product goes under. It's available at most ironmongers and discount hardware stores. Good stuff, too!
Or try vinegar (white vinegar) and newspaper. Works pretty well at cleaning most stuff from glass. I'm not kidding!
steam,w.d.40,lemon juice or nail varnish remover.
