Can anyone give me an idea what we should expect to pay for a bathroom refit ,labour cost only

Work consists of removing existing toilet, bath, and sink, also removing 4 metres square of tiles, and wallpaper about 8 metres squared.

Work to rectify is replacing toilet ,and sink within a new vanity unit and replacing bath with shower, boarding floor to fit vinyl floor covering, modifying pipework as necessary and tiling approx 8m2

The bathroom is 3metres X 2 metres in a modern semi detached

A ballpark figure would be a help to see if we can budget for the work this year ,also how long will the work be expected to take?

The labour of this type of work goes up a lot for little apparent impact if you are having to shift the soil pipes around. I assume you are shifting the position of the loo.
Hi fiesata. We got our bathroom done last October and paid 3,240. The work we had done included ripping out the old suite ( shower, bath, toilet, sink and some old shelves), the removal of all the tiles, ripping up cork floor tiles, fitting the new suite (plus new shower doors etc) and the re-tiling of the floor and walls. The price included the suite and tiles by the way and ALL labour - electrics etc. They also removed all the debris and remains of the old fittings. The work took approx 5 full working days ( the tilers worked late on evening) Hope this is of some use to you. Also, its an average size, and we picked very basic white suite and reasonably priced tiles.
