Hi

Has anyone got any tips on how to get water marks of a bath tub. I clean it on a regular basis with things like Mr Muscle but still the marks show through. It looks horrible and dirty even though I clean it. Does anyone know of any home made products that will cut through it.

Try mixing baking powder with a little water into a paste, apply to the bath with soft cloth and give it a rub then rinse off.
Sounds like you have hard water - try a magnetic water treatment (about 50) on your incoming water supply. Needs no electricity supply and should fix the problem once and for all.
It's simple, never use water for a bath!
welcome e mail?
I live in a soft water area and sill get what you sugest. I have always been told that baking soda or (bicarbonate of soda) will get rid of water marks and clean at same time. It's xcellent on disinecting insides of fridges too. did also read some wear to use white vinegar. I've used it on other areas in the house but thought it would be too strong in the bathroom - thought it might react with the plastic even though wht I read sid no - I couldn't quite believe it
Buy "Magic Eraser" From Woolworths or Asda. It's about 5. it's like a foam sponge that you simply wet under tap. Rubs marks of baths, sinks, cookers, car scrapes, walllpaper marks, fridges, etc; It is Amazing. In the unlikely event that this does not help, squirt a little "Power Bath" - I think it comes from Australia, but is in most supermarkets.

Just cut off a little cube of "Magic Eraser" at a time, it's all you'll need. Its Made by JML
