Stick your fingers in it and you'll soon be able to tell if its grease or not. I take it you haven't tried tackling it yourself first then?

Actually its for a friend. It is the outside of it that is yellow and a wipe over is not doing it. She is putting the house on the market soon and wants it reasonably clean.
I'd use a cream cleaner on it as long as the surface doesn't have a high shine as that might leave slight scratches. A degreaser would do the trick in that case. If its enamelled you should be ok with the cream cleaner. Try a small inconspicuous area first.
