I've looked at both Kinedo and Pegasus units, but they're too high.We have max headroom of 1700 cms.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

I'm sure there was a company that made them for narrow boats
But few would be able to stand in it - well I couldn't- even at the full 1700cm, and you need to allow for the waste as well. Can you recess into the floor or up into the ceiling?
Why can't you just form a 'normal' shower cubicle sloopy? We might be able to advise better if we knew.
Question Author
thanks both

no we can't and sometimes being short is good khandro ;)

because bathroom sealants seem to fail very regularly on boats zacs - I think it's because of the extra flexing - a sealed unit stops water getting where you don't want it
Can't you just go overboard for a ducking ?

some people a cruising for a right good clogging on this one...
doh, ducks behind the sofa.
I thought all your hardy rugged sailor types attended to all your bodily functions and ablutions over the side !!! Lol...
You could look at caravan showers or wet walling. If a shower comes complete, how would you get it through the boat and into position?
Shower cubicles for caravans are made by Thompson Plastics, Big Bear Plastics, 4Tech, Linecross, all of whom you should find on tinternet somewhere.

Wet walling is available from Frontline Bathrooms in West Yorkshire.
You could try these also

Some of the names I gave are manufacturers but they should be able to give you retailers info.
Question Author
genius zacs, thanks, I tried caravans and people kept trying to flog me one, I'll give them a go

small size is another reason for being able to get it into the bathroom in one piece

I'm glad someone helpful rose above the rest of the rabble...;)
Yes sloopy, there are some 'jokers' who shouldput themselves on the AB naughty step. ;-)
rabble !.
Could you not buy one off the shelf and ask a local glazier to cut it down to size?
MT, you can't just cut toughened glass.

ace, sometimesits, ta, now we're cooking

^wot zacs said mick

yep, rabble
First off, Sloopers, I'd look at the possibility of cutting a cubicle down to the right height. It would be pretty simple to cover the cut edge with trim of some kind.

Otherwise, caravan units or go the way Zacs and others have posted - with Aquapanels and the like.

You shouldn't have sealant problems if you use the right one. With all that movement, you need a "High Modulus" silicone sealant. Something like "Dow Corning" will give you a movement range of around +/- 20%
