i have a patch of earth approx 6 x 2 feet, i want to kill the weeds, then put some membrane down, and cover in gravel. then in a couple of weeks i want to plant something (dont know what yet) there. what would be the best weedkilling product for the job?

Roundup is pretty good as it gets right into the roots and not just the foliage, also it does not affect the soil, only the plants so you can plant almost immediatly
