My cherry tree is four years old and doing really well, but has a lot more branches on one side than the other. It has grown to about 10ft tall (but only one main branch reaches this height). The rest of the branches are all low down and are 'clumpy'..

How do I encourage more growth on the thin side and when and how should I thin the tree out?
