Strawberries

This is their third year and I have lots of fruit already but they don't seem to be putting out any runners this year for me to pot on .They are not in the ground but in a strawberry pot and various other containers .Are they past their sell by date and shall I chuck them once finished fruiting and get new for next year ? I have had a few ripe fruits already and they taste OK !

Good morning Biddies - my goodness you are all in the wars. Let's hope you all have a better day today. Sounds like you're living over here shaney that happens to us a lot but I also have a gas cooketer as well as leccy so at least the dinner gets done (assuming that the gas bottle dosen't run out at the same time!)

morning...just popped in while the washer does it's thing around the kitchen ...& the sun's shining so we don't need four candles here at the moment...
I finally rec'd a mail from youVin...mostly jargon & utterings about 'not liking the recipient'. Charming!! But in amongst it all was your message anyway, well one of them, so thanks. P'raps you need a different mail addy that's not run by touchy demons :o)
Now you tell us jno, I had that programme on but wasn't really paying attention. I did watch the next one after it though with Mary Quant, Biba fashion etc. What amazed me was how they went on about Biba being inexpensive....well dahn sarf maybe but for Nottingham it wasn't at all cheap, some of us were still knitting our own drawers...
when I did sleep, I had a dream (nightmare?) last night that some of the ABers met. oh gawd, what a shabby lot, hehe, they were all like grungy unwashed students (including me I might add, I'd gone in my old gardening togs). There was one rather nice guy that I did get along famously(!) with though, no idea who he was but I might scout around to see whether this plimsoll fits anyone out there. :o)
.......then I woke up & it was back to the living nightmare....hey-ho, spect we'll all survive...
and if anyone dares to sing 'you'll never walk alone' you're toast! very burnt toast!!

she knew she'd done some filming for the show, Robinia, but didn't know whether it would be used or, if so, which episode it would be in (they wouldn't tell her anything). And no it's been on and seen by zillions all she could say was her haire was a mess...
Anyway, far be it froom me to put advertising on AB, but if anyone was to google Mary Jane's Mobile Millinery... (It's mobile because she'll turn up at hen nights and dinner parties and suchlike, arms laden with buttons and bows, and get everyone making their own hats). I'm not sure if this service is provided by candlelight; you'd have to ask her for non-flammable materials unless you actually fancied being a flame-haired beauty...

After all, my vintage hat box that I was telling y'all about selling has moved up in the world and has now been admired by the manager for Louis Vuitton Stockholm no less, so I've been told.
