I've just bought a lovely blue lace cap hydrangea intended for our back garden. Will it be okay to plant it in a north-facing position, please? It's a large plant so would hate to plant it somewhere only to find that it's not doing very well north facing. Many thanks.

luckily they will tolerate and then some, so it should be fine.
Add Hydrangea feed to keep the flowers blue.

Many thanks, you've put my mind at rest - I've earmarked a spot - which is by this north-facing wall, so wanted to be sure. Cheers, Chox.
I have two lace caps facing North. They are lovely at the moment. The most important thing is to keep them well watered.
This is my first port of call after gardening books.
