Looks like Datura stramonium

Great I have always wondered what Datura looked - it is said to grow on the moor. A few kids were intoxicated in the late seventies in Plymouth

thanks lads - I now know what not to pick and make tea from
frugalfred: One of many simalar to the fungal variety that can cause the same effect. A 50/50% chance of enjoying or dying.
A friend of mine ate a small leaf once, he was of his face for hours!
dizmouk - I have no confidence in my ability to accurately identify fungi! In France, one can take the fungus to the local pharmacy for identification. Good idea!
I don't advocate doing that BTW!

The fungal variety I was refering to was, and is, 'magic mushrooms' but I'm assuming you already realised that :)
yeah understood - you were talking about kids going off their heads
there isnt a fungus called datura

horses can get poisoned as well

Peter Pedant: No I was refering to a fungus. I was trying to be discrete about how I wrote my post. Obviously I've now brought more attention to it than intended so I might as well state what I was getting at.

The image of the weed posted by RATTER can be used as a hallucinogenic as can 'magic mushrooms'.

I do apologise for getting defensive but at the moment I'm on the war path.
The leaf of the one my friend consumed came from a local garden centre, where they still sell them sometimes, usually with a warning though.
