I am repairing an old garden wall. Does anyone know how I can make the cement appear older rather than the new grey colour that it normally is.

I've also heard that plain yoghurt can be brushed onto concrete pots to encourage that "verdigris" look :)
You could try mixing ashes from a bonfire with your mortar mix before you add the water.I saw it used on a grade 2 listed building & it works quite well.
