I have bought a rather nice writing slope on ebay, however the lock doesn't work at all. Its quite easy to remove though and in fact I suspect that its not the original one anyway. I've hunted around but the only supplier of replacements I could find is in america and the p and p is huge.

Does anyone know of a UK supplier of writing slope (wooden box) locks please? Either new or old but they must work and come with a key.

good afternoon...been amusing myself among idiots (well not all idiots) Sis woke up feeling better today so she has gone home, against my better judgement but she would go and wasn’t actually collapsing. Weather horrible here and neighbours have got builders in, the bloke running the show though has been very nice and polite so I don’t expect problems.
Hi folks
Same old .It did stop raining though and we had a glimmer of sunshine for all of five mins.
Lol..Woofy.I can think of a better word than idiots .
Hope your sis arrives safely and soon feels better .I was trying to avoid the coughers and sneezers round the High St. today. I don't want another Christmas like last year.
Hope you're all ok.
Hellooo
Having a super time. Last night we were in a nice hotel in Denia. We had a private suite so nice. We went to the dining room and it was fill of old age Spanish pensioners on their cheap hols. They looked askanced at us young things. Just kept staring at I'd. Brekkie was nice egg and bacon and the works
Went to Mutcia and shopped in primark and c and a. I bought A HANDBAG And a blouse thing.

Drove to the Sierra Espuna which was a bit hair rasing. But this hotel is ace. I.love this village. It's cold too. Google Bajo El cejo, El berro Murcia and you see the place. I want to move to this village.
We had 4 beers and it cost us 4€.

Yes Shaney, Waitrose delivery is pretty blooming good. between them and tesco deliveries, I never have to enter a shop if i don’t want to....and if marks and sparks food delivered, that would put the icing on the cake. Today I have pulled out my christmas starbucks mug collection (I have seasonal mugs), started sorting out the christmas decorations, and made a dozen tiny bead angels for gifts. Jing jingly jingle :)
