No problem - the last one I sort of knew but took a while to relate the answer to the question - the others I just like a challenge - gave me a whole new perspective on Edward VIII, I must say

What a set of stinkers! Not much of a clue about the last two and not much idea of where to start looking........

Q111 - The Shanghai Gesture nominated 1942 for Music and Art Direction (B&W) - never heard of it!

Q112 Mary Queen of Scots - phew - as a Scot I'd never have lived down not knowing that one!!
By the way - what is this Challenge, who compiles it? How often does it get published?

Many thanks again for your help-I had already found Q111, but had no idea about Q112
I did mention that there were a few more in this vein,but since then I have found some of them,so the only one left,apart from Q113,which you have already seen, is the following
Q115 John,Andrew,James,Joseph,George,Thomas,Philip,Peter,Michael-there are two missing-who is the missing "bearded" lady?
The Challenge is a monthly torture session of 120 questions,set by a guy from Canterbury down here in Kent and provides hours of fun
The fiendish examples you have seen are from the last ten questions and are used as tie-breakers in the event of a tie over the other 110 questions

Thanks for your suggestion-any chance of a liitle bit more help as I've obviously tried Googling the actual names in the question, but to no avail
