Have just found a photo of a reli taken at a school on Empire day between 1900-1910. Can anyone tell me the date it was celebrated and whether it was movable. Or maybe it was just the once! Thanks

After her death in 1901, Empire Day was celebrated on Queen Victoria's birthday, May 24th. It was a fixed date until 1977 since when it's been the scond Monday in March.
