lol as ever .. today is shopping day.....I have continued to get supplies in for a few elderly neighbours post pandemic as they have come to depend on me now... so Thursdays are a bit hectic !

Old people love a tad of help and attention, especially if their own offspring aren't in a position to do so.

lol ...their families live a wee bit away and without internet or the means to travel ..combined with poor mobility..shopping is a real issue for them..so at least something useful has come from the pandemic situation..there is also the cups of tea and blethers when I deliver..so it is a kind of social thing for them too now..

There's one old bird that lived close by my mum that's decided I'm her adopted son, now that I'm officially an orphan;-)

Helping a neighbour fight the energy monsters today, asking for ridiculous amount each month, I think it's a plot to frighten her into a smart meter. Letter drafted and means test form nearly done, let's see what happens. I hope I don't have to escalate to sarcasm mode.... Dave used to go and hide when that happened.
