Most people living outback have utilised grandmas clothes as workshop rags.

depending on where you live, i would suggest looking out for antiques fairs, or even flea markets as they often have clothing that you might utilise.

I picked up sister from her home about 2 months ago and walking along was a wee girl about 19 or 20 dressed up to the hilt in Carnaby outfit. It looked lovely and brought a memory or two to me. Really nice.
