Went shopping today in local Sainsburys. Very pleased at the way all were behaving. Did not see anyone without a mask and most of them seemed to use the hand sanitiser. Hope this continues as am convinced this has kept the numbers low in this area. Just hope it continues. Being low I mean. Getting depressed with the lockdown. How about you?

No, not depressed but unsettled by the uncertainty of it all.
I popped into co op after the school run and everyone was masked and sanitised. Not sure what the rate of infection is in South London but I'm guessing it may be high.
The same...I'll just be taking one day at a time. And counting them off until spring.
We'll all end up raving.Oh,hang on,no the plods 'll be round.

:-(
I'd been hearing that London is bordering on tier 3. It's always red/orange on the map. That's why I decided not to visit my daughter...before the lockdown was announced.
I'm used to it now.
Quite high then Pasta. Loads of parents still maskless at the school gates at pick up time. I'm one of a very few who wear one :o(
Concerned but not depressed
There have been six deaths in my Town's Hospital since Friday and the figure isn't falling, most of those I see are masked.

I never make assumptions Ag, so much of what and who we are is hidden.
Mamya :-)

I was interviewed at the Police Station twice last week by two men who said I didnt need to wear a mask but they had too. They sat down and then took 'em off! Wots that all about??
I have no idea, seems bizarre.
Yes I've been getting depressed, been going on too long now !
Nice to read that folk are wearing masks, LadyJ. We've had a shower of idiots in Dublin protesting about masks and bullying people on the Luas, in shops and in the street.
Figures are high in Dublin. Watch them soar now. If I knew a good wall builder I'd employ him to keep the Dubs inside it.... :-)

I'm far from depressed but I'm sleeping more and feeling a bit lethargic. I've always called it indoor tired rather than a healthy tired and without the stimulation of socialising along with being at home so much I guess that's the cause.
I do feel for those who live alone in these times. I'm fine as many are, with my own company but a forced with no choice isolation must be so hard.

Oh Gness that is sad. People don't realise that wearing a mask wont make the virus go away but it will help to keep the spread of it down to more manage amounts and help to curtail the danger we put so many other people in. I don't just mean our families and people we may meet but everyone working in health centres and hospitals and all those others who are not receiving the treatment they need because so much attention is being given to those who have already caught the virus.
have a nasty case of the flu or possible covid, am waiting for the test kit which should take 48 hours, not looking forward to this but needs must. not depressed by the lockdown, used to being alone, but am feeling crocked and not a little depressed by this sudden illness.
Annie itll be far too late for you to do the test eont it? I thought you had to do it in the first 5 days of having symptoms?

emmie sorry to hear you have got to wait so long. The uncertainty must be worrying. Do hope you feel better soon regardless of whatever it is that's wrong.
Not bothered about being alone just want to have the choice of whether to stay in or go out somewhere and meet up.
