The number seems to have dropped off lately but it was running at around ten per week for a while. (The record was seven in one day!)
Probably one every other week.

As for fast food flyers, around 10 per day! Grrrr
I get one or two every couple of months. If you turn them inside out, they make excellent bin-liners.
About 2 , I use them for taking plastic to the recycling bins at Tesco.

11 in the last fortnight, and that's not including the leaflets asking for clothing donations. (Got 4 of those to go in the recycling bucket)
Trim:
Some are delivered by volunteers, working for well-known charities, but lots are delivered by (and the bags collected by) teams who are working for commercial companies which (at least claim to) donate part of their profits to charity.

The local JobCentre Plus often has ads for drivers and assistants for the work.
I`ve given up on them, they never get collected
Some time ago the collections were stolen by Eastern European gangs - I take my donations direct to the shops now.
2 a week.............
I get 4 -5 a week - they say to put them out again on the collection day even if they are empty so they can be reused.....but they never get picked up. Sick fed up of them.

...........and for the love of god, it's a DRAWER!!!!!!!! :o)
One or two a week. I have about six which I tend to turn inside and and either use them for recycling my paper and tins etc, or filling them with charity stuff for another charity (some won't take books - so I donate them to those that do.)

I get one from the Sally Army about twice a year. I use it to take stuff to the Charity Shop when I have anything, otherwise I line the pedal bin with it.
There is a big problem in Manchester with gangs of European males collecting these bags from your front doors no matter whose bag it is. So if you have genuinely put out a bag belonging to a reputable charity don't think it always gets to them. Better to drop it off at the shop if at all possible.
I get about five a week (got one today actually) but they usually come on the same day and it irritates me that they don't co-ordinate with each other. Maybe they could share out the area so that they are not all targeting one area at the same time and then they would maybe get a better share of the 'spoils'.
None...maybe it depends on where you live.
I do get an occasional leaflet from a company that collects clothing and claims to give it to overseas charities.
Each bag should have a registered charity number and a VAT reg number. You can always google them to check them out. If in doubt don't put it out, just recycle it as others have suggested.
If I have any clothes to give away-I donate them to the homeless charity I work for.
