In WW2 terms we are in 1933, when TGM urged action to stop Germany. It would have been over in a few weeks and WW2 would have been prevented. But no, the handwringers and trobiscites ignored it and refused a short fight for long term peace. In the end it became so bad that even they had to accept it was time to fight so it was a much much bigger fight. Fast forward to 2024 and we are in the same position except we are under the threat of a far worse tyranny than they faced back then. Will we let history repeat itself and thus make the fight much harder that it will be in the future? There is time to prevent Britainistan if we act now. Why don't we?

We are as like sheep and cows by permitting our own eventual demise as a nation. Our very country is being slowly stolen from us, and yet, we deny this, and denounce those that shout 'the emperor is naked' For shame. Our grandchildren will pay for this shortsighted apathy and the cowardly denial.

Firstly, I think you are being overly alarmist if you really imagine that the perceived threat from Islam equates to that of the Third Reich.

But more importantly, the world is a far more aware and sophisticated place that it was so far in the past.

People are much more aware of the wider world, and their place in it, so the idea that history will repeat itself in exactly the same way is so unlikely as to be dismissed.

History is not a train on a track, destined only ever to go one way and reach a predetermined destination.

It is a boat on the sea, and the wind and tides of the world will take it where it goes, and no-one can forsee that.

History, by definition, is looking at the past, but that does not mean that it also predicts the future - that will always remain to be seen.

Most of the above is contrary to History - The Great Man was in opposition, having presided over some spectacular failures ( Gallipoli, gold standard) and no one wanted war

no one wanted to re-arm...

History is not a train on a track, destined only ever to go one way and reach a predetermined destination. -  = = =oh whig theory of the course of history. I prefer: the only lesson that history teaches us, is: there are no lessons from history ( Maurriac/Maurois  ish)

It is a boat on the sea, and the wind and tides of the world will take it where it goes, and no-one can forsee that.

oh Creon in Antigone: Gentlemen, our ship of state, which the gods threatened to. Wreck in a sea of havoc, has returned to its proper course.... ( er and I am taking charge)

17:27, no one said he was in government.

"and no one wanted war, no one wanted to re-arm..." - that's the point in the end we had to it would have been a lot easier if they'd listened to TGM and did it earlier. Derr!

Question Author

Dunno why I bothered might as well try and teach my dog Calculus.

what exactly do you want done?

Question Author

I'm open to suggestions.

TTT - // I'm open to suggestions. //

Apparently, you are actually not.

History won't repeat itself.  Hitler lost.

Question Author

17:45 please Naomi don't be obtuse, I mean we are in a parallel situation. We can stop it now, the longer we wait the more difficult it will be.

//Firstly, I think you are being overly alarmist if you really imagine that the perceived threat from Islam equates to that of the Third Reich.//

Hmm, definitley shades of 1930 there.  You really need to open your eyes.

You are right it doesnt equate, this is a lot worse.

Question Author

17:44, I AM open to suggestions. You are the expert why don't you kick us off. How can we halt the islamification of Britain (....and probably the western world in general)?

ok

would you like to see muslims in the UK  exterminated? if not then why not?

I'm not being obtuse, TTT.  I thought I was being crystal clear.  Hitler lost - but if we don't take pretty radical action now and stop pussyfooting and placating, this lot won't!

Perhaps if you didn't employ an Enigma machine to compose your post we could arrive at a solution more timeously.

why is it when someone raises a problem someone popsu up with a totally rediculous accusation.  A clear distraction and bviously not wanting to address the problem.

I'll leave it to you TTT as I dont address pillocks.

it's a sincere question. people say they want "radical action" and "stop pussyfooting" but won't say what.

the problem as toratoratora defines it is a growing muslim population within the uk and "islamification". do your radical solutions extend to extermination or not?

Maybe I should add that I think I agree with you, I just don't speak your language.

Question Author

17:50, yes but can you see the parallel here? If we'd have tackled Hitler in the 1930s it would have taken a few weeks and we'd have prevented WW2. I think we are in the same position now regarding Islamification. The longer we wait to address the problem the more costly and difficlut it will be. Surely you can see the point I am making.

God!  You have one hell of a fixation on extermination, untitled.

No one is suggesting exterminating anyone.  Just saying 'no' would work!
