i am trying to trace realtives of my mums mum who lived in hartington st belfast maybe from 1900 to 1932s i know this is a long shot but would anybody have elderly relatives who remember margaret mc garry of that adress or any of the mc garry family,i would be very grateful for any info.the only other thing we know about margaret is she worked as a servant.

This is a case of needing to work from the known to the unknown. It's that gap in records that can often be filled with some eliminating research. Do you know for instance if your mother was an only child or if her Mum was an only child? Did wither your Mum or your Mum's mum have any eventr registered in England that might help identify other relatives? have you looked st early 20th century maps of the area to see where the local graveyards are or the local parish or school?
