My great Grandad was a jockey in Ireland and so I've heard quite a renound one. My grandparents have all passed away now so I can't find any more info from them. All I know is that his names was J Hogan ( I don't even know is christian name). It must have been around the 40's or 50's, maybe earlier. Does anyone knw where I could find any information about him?

There was a J.Hogan who rode Old Tay Bridge to come second in the 1926 Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Suggest you contact the Jockey club who would hold records of all jockeys etc.All the best.
