We can all find family and friends on 192 if we pay, so can someone please explain why we STILL have to wait until 2021 to get 1921 census? 1911 was out about 2010, so why can't the law be updated. 'invasion of Privacy' doesnt apply these days. (192 as stated) Also ,I am 100% stuck on ancester born 1817, how do I find his siblings and parents names? Thanks

The difference between 192 and the census is that people have agreed (by default, but agreed) to have their info shared. You won't find me on 192 because I am ex directory and have opted out. The people in the census didn't agree either, hence the 100 year rule.
With respect to the genealogy buffs.....actually no, with no respect at all... I found the new questions asked when registering a death very upsetting and annoying (job titles) the registrar told me that they have been added because folk want to research their past. I wanted to decline to answer and say its none of your damn business but apparently you can't.
192 holds electoral rolls too and so you will be on there unless you avoid the electoral roll!
I don't think that's the right marriage dotty. The William and Ann who married in Claybrook had 3 children, all born in Claybrook, William in 1819, Betsy in 1813 and Sarah in January 1817.
I don't see how they could have had Isaac in June in Lutterworth in 1816 and Sarah in January 1817 in Claybrook.
I have opted out of having my information sold on by the council.
can't see another candidate, without looking at the original register it's not 100% the baptism transcriptions are correct.
No I can't find another candidate either dotty but the births, to me, don't tie in with a single couple.
....and have just removed myself and late DH from 192
mmmmm isaac had a brother thomas born 1812 so it's not the same is it?

The edited roll can be sold commercially, the full roll is used for elections and credit checks and thats about it. I already declined to be on the edited version. 192.com have the full version but you can have your details removed from the 192 website by phoning them on 08000 887192. Apparently it takes 24 hours to take effect.
