The Sims

Hi, I am a Grandmother and do not know a lot about these games, can anyone tell me if the "Sims2" is compatable with the original sims. I have managed to get an "Original Sims" and I want to get some expansion packs to go with it.

The sims is a different game to the sims2 and they do not share data.
For the original sims you will need the original expansions: The Sims House Party, The Sims Hot Date, The Sims on Holiday , The Sims Unleashed, The Sims Superstar, The Sims Makin' Magic.
