.... exactly 3 years ago today, the thermometer in our conservatory registered 62.7 Deg C

I had to take the thermometer out of the conservatory, as the screen started going funny, or it might have gone even higher.

Phew ..... I'm melting .......

Agreed - way too cold in winter and way too hot on the odd occasion when we have a hot day. The conservatory was already built when we moved in. If I was to build an extension of some kind, it def wouldn't be a conservatory - just not practical in my opinion .....

Melting here, too, Giz.......it's too hot to move so I tried knitting but I can't hold the needles......they wander around my liquid hands like my father in law trying to find the keyhole after a night at the pub......☺

I'd never have a conservatory on this house....south facing....but in my last house we built a north facing conservatory.....it became the most used room in the house all year.

Well in our 'ordinary kitchen' no conservatory attached, window and door open all day, the temp has been and still is 27 degrees C....a tad too 'ot...too much 'ot for us oldies lol.
