ask andy hughs
Question number 1 was posted 1/12/2000 so I assume that was the date of conception, no idea about any changes that have taken place over that time, back to andy hughes!

It used to be completely different! In fact only a few months ago. I still think I prefer the old format, but hey ho. There have been many subtle changes but only one really major change.

andy hughes and others have been here since the beginning. Originally he was part of the staff writing articles, but I'll let him tell you about that.

Well this was when the first question was asked and answered:

I only discovered the site 9 months ago (can't remember how) but like Andy Hughes, I love it. It is so addictive and is the first site I visit every day. Have to admit though, I only have time to look at a few categories most of the time. Sport (because I can find the answers to most of the golf questions and some about football, snooker and motor sport), People and Places, Music, IT and TV/Film. I also learn a lot from other people's Q&As and whenever I need to know something, there is almost always an ABer who can help out. It is just about the friendliest site of its kind, long may it prevail.
I always knew that andy hughes was good for sensible answers but didn't know that he was one of the originals.    Keep up the good work andy!
