this is a recipe from Waitrose that I tried with some added ingredients and it was a hit with the family and so we're going to make some for xmas too.

2 teardrop nans (1 per person)
250g minced lamb (or beef)
1 finely chopped red onion
freshly chopped coriander
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp chilli powder
1-2 fresh tomatoes de-seeded and chopped
salt & pepper to taste

method

mix all the ingredients together (except the nan) and spread over the nan, covering the edges, bake in the oven on gas 6 for 20 mins and serve with raita - yum

Cameo, do try it, it doesn't take long to prepare and then you bung the ingredients together and it's done (after baking of course)I forgot to mention that all the juices run into the nan when it's cooked, giving it even more of a Yum factor - I'm fancying them again!

cazzz1975 you can buy all the ingredients ready to use from a jar (garlic & ginger) or packet (mince), all you're doing is chopping an onion and tomatoes - how much easier does it get?
Thanks for the recipe J. D. We tried it today. It was delicious. We will certainly make it again.
