has anyone got or know a good recipe for a diabetic using canderel sugar (sweetner) preferbly something cakey - i only have the basic cooking foods so i don't want anything mad!
Also i have already looked on the canderel site and made a cake from there and its horrible!
Princess maybe you can find something on the Splenda website - here in the USA it is the brand that works in baked dishes - the carrot cake one looks good:
just make a normal cake, using sugar. the percentage of sugar in a slice of cake is very little, and in a cake using artificial sweetner you still have to count the carbohydrate value anyway. that's what i was told when baking for my son who was diagnosed at 10 years old (he's 25 now and it didn't do him any harm).
