Thankyou so much I must have missed that one. Will make it tomorrow.
If the supermarket has brioche that is a nice substitute for plain bread.
Make 5 buttered marmalade sandwiches .
Cut crusts off and cut into diagonals. (20 triangles)
Arrange in shallow oblong dish.
Put 3oz raisins with 6oz whisky in small pan.Heat. and cool.
Sieve whisky from raisins into another small pan and add 1 1/2pints of milk 2-3 oz sugar. Stir until sugar dissolved.
Whisk 3 eggs until light in colour.
When milk is boiling pour on to eggs and whisk.
Pour over the marmalade sandwiches and put in oven 375F 190C Gas5 for 20 minutes.
Scatter whiskied raisins around the dish and put back for 5 more minutes.
Serve with cream or creamy milk.

This is simply the best ever. Hope you try it.
