When I manage to get a bet on and it wins !! There’s quite a back story to that ….over the years, I’ve been involved with a Vic. Trainer ….well, with his horses, and I never manage to catch the wretched things on the day they win….name of the game, isn’t it!!

Morning all, I don't get every day, but I am already a little ahead this year. I start the year with a small amount... And placing little bets I see how it does. Once its gone I stop. All it takes is a really stupid bet to come in, like a defender scoring a hat trick.... And it's a good year.

Took advantage (£5 stake) on 365's price boost from 9/1 to 10/1 for Haaland to score with a header, last night. He scored the 2nd of his 5 goals with his head :-))

Nice one Ken, I wish I'd seen that, might have been tempted. Can't normally get good odds on him scoring when in form. It's like the old days with Chelsea. Drogba to score....not worth bothering. I made more money on John Terry, and
Ivanovic.

I used to win a few quid on Graham Alexander (Burnley defender and captain) a few years back. He took our penalties and rarely missed. In our first season in the Premier League, i backed him at good odds to score from the spot more times than any other player. Unfortunately, Lampard netted 1 more than Alexander in a season when his team were Champions, and Burnley were relegated.
Regarding Haaland, i think he was odds-on to score anytime, but he doesn't get that many with his head (5, i think), which the price reflected.

Good morning to you all. I was put off betting many years ago when a work colleague and I worked out a foolproof winning method, but on our first win the bookie refused to pay out. Once bitten etc. My gambling nowadays is confined to Lotteries where I have been successful on a number of occasions. It can be (and is) good fun providing you contain it within your budgetary limits, like any other hobby/interests.

Well so far I have made a storage bag for a large embroidery , and sown some seeds to go out on the balcony later this year. Mostly edibles, If it's a good summer I will be self sufficient in dealership mid Autumn and will have enough tomatoes left over for chutney ... Will buy mini aubergine, peppers and chilli plants from the garden centre as I only have room for one of two of each. Just need to sow salad leaves when it gets a bit warmer.

I knew someone who should have won £9,000 ont thorses but only received £850. It was with a local bookie who had that limit. Not spotted by the punter before betting. Costly!

I know a few who have done that, 10C, back in the day, and one of them was aware the independent bookie's payout limit! Said he just never expected any of his multiples to actually 'all' win:-/ Think he only lost about £400. I say 'only £400' in comparison to the idiot you know;-)
