I like chicken and sweet corn but can't seem to find any lately.

The soup making season started 2 months ago .. nearly all the ingredients come from the allotment, so the soup changes as the produce comes into season. It usualy kicks off with roast tomato and pepper. Followed by Potato and leek. This years discovery has to be courgette soup, I know it sounds awful, but following a very simple recipe produces the most amazing...

Love broccoli and Stilton done in my soup maker
I love a fishy soup, like lobster bisque. With loads of French bread!!
Carrot and coriander.
canned is oxtail and sainsburys is better than Heinz IMO. Home made is James Martin's butternut squash and lime which I also make with a mixture of squash and sweet potato.
A good minestrone
Spicy carrot and coriander.

I actually like most soups.

Chipchopper - is like normal chicken soup? If so add some sweetcorn yourself.
I love chicken and sweetcorn soup, especially from the Chinese.

Home made vegetable which is not pureed. A like a good hearty soup. Also chowder.
Chinese Hot & Sour soup from our takeaway

Homemade Chowder with smoked haddock, prawns and queen scallops -made on special occasions.
This thread is souper.
Pea and ham seems to tantalize ones taste buds at the moment, to chose a favorite though it has to be Chicken and mushroom accompanied with lashings and lashings of unhealthy butter on crusty bread... ground black pepper (real stuff not the powder) is a must for the soup.

Heinz’s tinned tomato soup for sheer comfort soup.
Home made butternut squash soup or leek and potato.
I had forgotten about chinese soups, which I like unless an egg is broken into them when they are served which our chinese friends do.

I like broccoli and Stilton, cream of chicken, oxtail and loads more.
Oh yes, chinese hot and sour soup is good too, and seafood chowder.
