Bought lots of "bit" in M&S today and was knocking myself up a salad.....a big salad with all the bits and some unusual stuff thrown in.......when Dave passed by on his bike.....

You can have something to eat.....said I....but it's salad.......
That'll see him off I thought......but no....he joined me for a salad......!!!

And worse still......he declared it an absolutely delicious salad......and finished it off.....

So......am I getting better in the kitchen.....not something I'd want to get around.......or is Dave the salad dodger coming down with something?.... :-(

We had jacket potato and salad. I like honey & mustard dressing on mine, mmmm! I think the mayonnaise swung it for Dave??

Well not yet, Anne.......but he may die of shame.....ten minutes in the garage discussing who has the best ebike has resulted in.....
Dave is to set off east for a lap of the town......I'll set off west and the last one back here makes coffee and does the dishes.....

I cheated..... :-(.... The Bell is about a quarter of my way round......three quarters of Dave's.......and when you meet some friends sitting outside the pub...well you have to stop for a natter don't you.....
And Dave eventually joined us.......the Guinness brought back the smile....and I'll do the dishes...... :-)

Well, Ael.....the most unusual ingredient was......green chilli, lime and coriander pea snaps.....baked not fried....hight in fibre......

M&S....looked very tempting.........opened one bag...tried a few ....they were dire.... thought......hmmmmm....what shall I do with the rest......into the salad they went.....the garlic sorted them.....x

His taste buds were in fine fettle when he arrived, OG.......can't say what they're like now...... :-)
