making toad in hole. Need 100g of flour. Even the UK sites say 1cup(American size cups)= 100g flour.
I'm sure when I was making scones I used 2 mugs of flour(I think that was a 100g)
Any thoughts?

Best batter recipe.... I cup (doesn't matter what size as long as you use it for all the ingredients) of plain flour with a pinch of salt 1 cup of half milk half water I cup of eggs. I dash of vinegar Sift the flour and salt into a large bowl pour in half the eggs and a little of the milk/water mix and beat with an electric mixer for about 1 minute... add the rest of the eggs...

Cake Flour Conversion.
Amount: 1 - 100 grams portion (100g) of cake flour mass portion
Equals: 236.59 milliliters (ml) in cake flour volume
Ginge, is that correct?^
A cheap set of scales would make your life sooooo much easier.
Alternatively, find a woman who likes cooking.
...I'd make it easier if I gave Svejk the right answer ;o)
Do what Sher suggests. You'd probably get both eggs in a ramekin. Then measure out your flour and milk in the same one.

Oh...and go and buy some measuring cups and spoons. Makes life so much easier.
Shake, svejk and bake......

1 US cup = 16 tablespoons

or 1 US cup = 128 grams, so just follow your natural scrimpiness and you'll be ok.
Or borrow some scales from whoever lent you the eggs..

Sorted now, the scones were 200g so 1 mug=100g=200ml
