I have an empty Quality Street tin ( wasnt me lol). Full tin cost £5 , think they are all selling at that price anyway. So is it cheaper to buy loose Quality Street somewhere to fill the tin, or just buy another tin?? And where is it cheaper to buy them loose?

I have seen the plastic jars of quality street for about £4 and there maybe less in them than the tins so it would probably be best to buy another tin.
Of you're going for a refill, try M&S's The Big Selection if they're on offer, much nicer than Quality Street. I hang them on the Christmas tree for the kids, well, and for me.

Just seems silly to buy another tin.
I use the tins for biscuits once the choccies have gone. Buy another tin, a good excuse to buy lots of biccies to fill it with (and eat, yum yum)!
Look and see how many, in grams, you got in your tin - it will be on the back -then look and see how much there is in a normal box or plastic jar, in grams- compare the prices and do a bit of math - ad -dah! -there's my 20 seconds of rocket science done for the day .

lol, yes I also have one I use for biccies.

This tin says 795g net,820g inc wrappers.
Did you eat them ALLLLLL ?!
Mine keep disappearing apart from the toffees (teeth not what they were)
i bought a large tin for a fiver in sainsburys, bargain..
morrisons are doing 2 tins for £8 now - if you are looking to buy another tin :)
900g of M&S ones are £4.99!

Thats a good price RR.

( No, I barely got any of them!!)
I can't believe you get twelve posts about an empty tin, LOL!
Question Author
LOL, when you put it like that...............
Tins are very good for storing print photos and old memorabilia in, esp with a little packaging tissue added. Keeps everything dark and stable, and difficult to crush. Spray paint the outside and label it up though so it doesn't get thrown out by accident.

How funny, i found an unused spray can of silver paint last night and was going to spray the tin.
