Tonight we are having a few people round so I'm doing Chicken tikka, and some onion bhajis to start, served with a lemony mint and yoghurt sauce, and salad garnish, then a lamb bhuna, a beef Madras, and a chicken and prawn dopiaza, dhal, bombay potatoes, pilau rice, naan breads, chutney/pickles and poppadums. Lassi/sherbet or Indian lager to drink. Tropical fruit salad and mango kulfi for pud.

A few??
chicken korma, very sweet, from the local restaurant.
I really like a nice creamy texture to my curry and my favourite is a Lamb Pasanda from the take away, although I do ask them to make it madras hot. If I make it myself it's usually a Beef Madras.
Used to be a Tikka Masala but ive now recently fallen in love with Butter Chicken, yum!
Lamb tikka masala or a murgi masala! Yum!! What you're cooking though sounds delicious.
Any Med/Hot Curry made with any Meat served with preferably Boiled Rice.
how do you do all this with a gamy leg?
Wow! sounds like a lot of work but soundsscrumtious too, can I come?

I'm afraid I'm a bit lazy these days & get a curry sauce from s/market & do that with chicken & like to add coconut milk.

I got the 'cage' off my leg on Monday so getting about is easier, I sit at the kitchen table and prep it all, grinding fresh spices in a pestle and mortar, chopping and cutting, it's no biggie. The only thing I've needed help with, was taking boiling pans off the heat and draining them, but now I can stand I can do that myself.

You eat fish heads McF? You who are tickle-stomached at anything jellified and mushrooms, but you eat fish heads? The mind boggles....
Errrrr could have something to do with her heritage.

Served with fish head curry in Thailand.......yuk!
I don't have a particular favourite although recently have been partial to a lamb dansack (bet I've spelt that wrong) with mushroom rice when we go out. I do love a red thai curry though. Am also quite partial to byrianies, rogan josh, bhunas and occasionally a madras but mainly the one my dad makes.
Murgh Makhani but I`ve never had an authentic one in this country. Here, my favourite is Jeera Chicken or Chicken Tikka Bhuna.
I don't have a favourite but they have to be hot. Your shopping bill must be astronomical.
i was put off by it when it was given to me but i was staying with them and didn't want to be rude so i tried it and it was delicious.
