I can't stop eating them. How do you peel yours?

I make a small bite in the skin to start. From there I peel a strip around the circumference of the fruit before removing the top and bottom 'caps'. End up with the removed skin in one piece... looks a little like an elephant (two ears and a trunk) which is nice...

you are a freaking weirdo

ok dig nail in near the top then attempt to remove in one go - award yourself 10 points if you manage it, then i have to get as much of the pith of as possible before seperating into segments and removing any stray pith that's left

kinda why i havent bothered eating any for a while :-)
Oh, you peel them?
Actually, let OH peel mine, and the grapes!

"I need to see this elephant effect"

well turn your trouser pockets inside out...............
I knew this would be you before I even clicked on it...

I like to remove the skin all in one go using the more civilised nail to skin method rather than biting it.... I don't really do the elephant thing.
think i shall try this one next

Too many oranges can make the palms of your hands go orange..... I've seen it, I used to work with the girl who ate three oranges every day.
I prefer clementines, satsumas are one step away from knawing on a lemon

You need to switch your fruit provider... these Sats are sweeeet.

The skin doesn't come away as easily on Clems does it...
my clems have a skin thats too big for the fruit, I like to juggle with 3 clems for approx 4 minutes before I eat them.

then its a short but shocking trip to the toilet :)

CD is learning to juggle... with Sats. I get her to soften them up for a few minutes before I grab them off her. Dropping them on the floor half a dozen times also seems to help.
I have to pick all the bits off before I can eat mine.
So my segments are neatly peeled and all lined up ready to pop into my mouth.
Just eaten my way through a whole punnet of cherries - THEN I saw the price (about 10p a cherry). That's two bob in real money.
LOL lardy, I did that the other day, I realised that the special offer price of a loaf of bread was fifteen shillings!
lol boxy! My daughter falls about when I talk about stuff in real money - a Mars Bar now costs the equivalent of about 13 shilings! It used to cost half a crown ( a weeks pocket money!)
Ahem.... (sorry snags) I've still got a pair of shoes for which I paid twenty-nine and elevenpence in 1971.....
