does it always contain oil?
Peanut butter always contains oil. Nuts are a seed and all seed contains oil. When the peanut is grounded or pulverised its oil is extracted.

Peanut butter from the health food shops, the kind the shops make for themselves do not contain added oil. Most of the shops make the peanut butter for you, in front of while you wait!
