My mate Lil has to present herself at the police station tomorrow for a thorough going-over. I can't say why, and you'll never guess.

But Mick - I'm 'doing an another-view'.... - just reporting random thoughts that enter my whirlpool of a mind.

(p.s. it's gross misconduct).
If you can't say why, is there any point in guessing?
is she a cleaner?

It's gross misconduct Boo. Of which she is wholly innocent of anything other than being a ditzy forgetful blonde. And the security guard is lying. And Lil is now back on antidepressants.
It's a cruel world.
gross misconduct - is that with 144 men? No wonder they want to see her.

Well done Inspector Jack. The update is that the police did come round & she had to give a statement. If she had admitted to the so-called 'theft' (even though she's not guilty) the irony is that she would have been let off with a slap on the wrist & a caution. However, as she is ditzy silly daft & all those things, she is not a thief and will not admit to something she hasn't done, even to save her skin (very admirable) - so now she runs the risk of being prosecuted.

Needless to say, my own shoplifting exploits have gone on hold.....
tell her to get evidence, witnesses etc ready to go (if she isn't already). Sometimes you have to fight for your rights, but better than admitting to a crime you didn't commit.
