The thing I find about fish is that it doesn't really matter which fish you are eating, it's the sauce that makes the dish, but if pushed I would say monkfish. Also chowder is one of my all time fav things.
I like admirals pie, and also salmon cooked much the same way as you do oscarina.
I like most fish. Had salmon for dinner tonight.

Love Snapper, monk fish, trout, fresh tuna....and all shell fish.
I like fish pie in any shape - also salmon cooked with honey and ginger glaze, that is yummy. I don't like smoked fish much and smoked mackerel starter can ruin the rest of the meal for me.....
I love fish....but I prefer it simple. I marinate salmon steaks in Soy sauce and Balsamic vinegar...with a salsa of finely chopped tomatoes, spring onion and minced red chilli. Or-I bake cod with sliced red onions and halved cherry tomatoes.
I also love prawns,trout,...any fish really.
French soupe aux poissons.
I prefer it simple as well. If you use to strong a sauce you can't taste the fish. I try to use sauce with the potatoes or veg...
Now you're talking, MarkRae, you can't beat a dish of boullabaise - or indeed mussels in a big pot eaten out of doors in a square in Bruges....

I love mackerel.
I often buy a whole mackerel slice it up into nice thick slices and cook it in a tomatoey savoury sauce with onions, peppers, garlic, tomatoes, stock cube, corriander and serve it with rice.
Salmon with a swwet and sour glaze is also nice!
For me, its smoked haddock, peas and chips, sauces just spoil a good piece of fish!
i like all types of fish ..
Not anything common ..
We had tilapia the other day, it was lovely. It was in the cheap pot at Tesco so I thought I'd give it a try - yum.
A dozen oysters and a pint of Guinness makes a tasty snack.
