Tickets cost around £140 each, she hardly sang and 2,000 people walked out halfway through. Would you pay this for a concert with a 74 year old singer who has had a throat operation and can't sing like she used to ?? I wouldn't have gone to see Julie Andrews if someone had paid ME to see her .. too sugary sweet for me Ugh .

Nope, she should retire gracefully, its not like she needs the money or does she?
Got something like £12M for the throat operation being botched didn't she?
Like you smurfchops, I wouldn't go to see Julie Andrews even if she could still sing and even if you paid me £140. 'The Sound of Music' yuk............ well except for the very gorgeos Christopher Plummer (who I believe is not with us any more).
Christopher Plummer is still alive and active in films http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001626/ (unless he's died in the last few hours)
Hi Lottie!
No, me neither...they just don't know when to retire gracefully do they?
She has made it very public that she CANNOT sing like she could due to the throat op. The concert was to be more of a celebration of her past work. Anyone who was prepared to shell out this much for a ticket, must be a die hard fan and know the score on this, otherwise they're just ignorant.
Ooops, sorry Christopher. I felt sure he had died. I think I was thinking of Eric Porter (don't ask!!)

Hi Yoga! x
someone I know went to see her at 02 and she is only 22
