What film do you think they ruined making too many sequels? Mine would be American Pie, yer 1, 2 and wedding were ok but then we had band camp and naked mile etc. With half the main characters missing

couldnt agree with you more 4getmenot, AP1 was the best, the rest were cack.

Other ruined sequels everything after Aliens, Robocop, The Cube.

Now you see Matrix, I liked the whole of the Alien (etc...) series, because I thought Sigourney Weaver grew into her character.

If I could be in any scene in a movie, I'd love to do the bit where Ripley is zipping myself (oops, I mean HERself) into the space suit near the end of Alien. I love the tension, and the atmosphere, and Ripley is so resolved and determined, even though she's really scared, and it makes her very sexy. She's a bit like Sarah Connor in T2.

Yes I agree joggerjaynes, i liked them all all too, but I though they got prgressively "not as good" after Aliens 2

Yes, I have to agree with that, Matrix.

But Aliens was surely an exceptional sequel. One of those rare movies (like T2) where the sequel becomes more of a classic than the original.
